Our San Francisco Treasure Island league run from November 13th through January 29th. The registration deadline is October 15th, but there is a strong possibility that the league will sell out before then.

Overview

Play Flag Football offers 5-on-5 non-contact flag football leagues designed for boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 15. Our leagues are located throughout Northern California.

All league play takes place on Sundays. Teams meet and practice before their scheduled game times and play two games each Sunday*. Games last 45 minutes. The typical team size is 8 to 10 children. The SF season consists of one practice week, twelve regular-season games, and an end of season playoff tournament where teams will play at least two additional games.

Registration is now available for our San Francisco leagues. The cost is $200. Each player receives a team jersey, shorts, flags and a mouthpiece. Players also receive a league t-shirt. All players will receive a participation trophy from the league at the end of the season.

Some league locations interlock with others, meaning that some of their games may be played at the interlocking league location.

* Our Pre-K and K divisions play one game every Sunday

Divisions

Divisions are based on grade level. Children should be registered in the division matching the grade level they are enrolled in for the upcoming 2016-2017 school year.

We allow children to "play up" in higher grade divisions if they so desire. Children are not allowed to play down in younger divisions without written permission from the league.

How to Register

On-line registration is the only available registration method. You can register using your Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover Card.

Playing With Friends or Siblings

After you register, you will have the option to list a friend, sibling, or coach that you would like to have placed together with your child. You will need to know your requested buddy's email address, and all buddy requests must be submitted through our system. Sibling requests are guaranteed, as are requests by coaches to coach their own child.

The vast majority of the time, we are able to accommodate friend requests. The earlier you register, the easier it is for us to fulfill your request. These requests are not guaranteed, however, as on rare occasions, we are not able to accommodate them.

Forming Your Own Team

We do not currently accept team registrations. The most effective way to register a complete team is to have the coach register first, and then have the interested players request the coach under the Coach/Buddy Request section of registration.

Refund Policy

Our deadline for refund requests is the day after the registration deadline. There is a $10 charge on all refunds (which is about what we are charged by the credit card companies). In some cases, we will grant league credits after the refund deadline.

Signing Up to Coach

Coaching our youth league programs can be a fun and rewarding experience. The commitment is limited to a few hours on Sundays. We provide training and all of the equipment you'll need to have a great season.
