This fall will mark the 15 year anniversary of Play Flag Football in the Bay Area, and we are very grateful to have the opportunity to serve such an amazing community. This season will include lots of surprises and special events, some familiar, some brand new, and we're excited to bring it all to you.
We will kick off the fall season with our popular Fall Festival. The festival will be held on September 23rd for the South Bay, and September 30th for the Peninsula.
In addition to receiving their gear for the season, players will go through a series of fun events, measuring their 40 yard dash, vertical jump, broad jump, distance throw, velo throw, and more. Moms and dads are welcome to join in the fun too. Old favorites like dodgeball and other games will run throughout the day as well.
Spike's Throw for Dough (Time/Date TBD)
One lucky coach will have the chance to win up to $10,000 in Spike's Throw for Dough. The coach will be selected at random in a drawing held and broadcast live from our Play Flag Football offices in Campbell (date and time TBD).
Th event consists of 6 throws. The first five throws are from 25 yards into our target net, and the coach will win $200 for every throw made. The final throw will be made from 50 yards into our target net, and if completed successfully, will multiply the prize amount by 10.
The event will take place at a time and date during the fall season to be determined.
Join us for a day full of good old fashioned fun, with a variety of football-themed carnival games. The South Bay and Peninsula will have separate dates, and they will coincide with their league photo days.
Get ready for our most entertaining tournaments yet! All the fun and excitement of our season-ending event with a lot of added surprises. The South Bay tournament will take place on November 11th, with the Peninsual tournament on November 18th.
Coach's Tournament and Parent/Child Day
Join us for the return of our popular Coach Tournament, where coaches face off in a round-robin style event. Come and cheer on your coach as he or she teams up with coaches from your league location to play against other locations. The afternoon will feature a Parent/Child 2v2 event, with teams consisting of one adult and one child. More information about date, time and specific event rules will be posted soon.
